Daniel heads up Courland International's operations and offices in the greater China Region, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has since 1997 gained considerable consulting and executive search experience in a variety of industries, in particular automotive.

Prior to his consultancy career, Daniel had an eighteen-year career with multi-national companies working in senior regional human resources management roles in Engineering, Technology, Dealer-Import Vehicle-Distribution. He was the Executive HR Director of an international publicly quoted dealer group, headquartered in Hong Kong and the Representative Director for the Group in the PRC. He was subsequently promoted from this position to that of HR Director Asia Pacific and the Middle East, a position that he held for ten years.

Daniel is a Science graduate with an MBA qualification from the United States. He is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of HR Management.
